Why are we calling this page "Sesame" with an exclamation point, if the title card doesn't have one? -- Ken (talk) 02:33, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
- Good question. It would be great to have a source for all the info on this page. -- Danny (talk) 03:35, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
- Danny, it looks like you started the page with the exclamation point(!) I'm guessing you don't remember your source, so I'll go ahead and move it to Sesame (Philippines) based on the title card. —Scott (talk) 22:00, November 28, 2009 (UTC)
Kermit or Grouch?[]
Did Kiko Matsing start as a grouchy character, then lighten up? This article compares the character to Kermit, yet the MW article currently calls him a grouch. Anyone actually ever see the series, to know? -- Zanimum 16:48, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
It looks like Kiko wasn't a grouch, according to this article on Sesame!:

Kiko Matsing is not a Grouch character, as some people might think. He 'goes bananas' over all kinds of bananas. He dares to be himself, asserting his individuality. He is persistent when there's something he wants to do or have. Although he may sometimes be eccentric, he is not really a weirdo. He may also be grumpy occasionally, but not simply for grumpiness' sake. He's just being himself. Of the two main characters, Kiko is the more mature and projects a more condifent attitude. Like any four-year old child, Kiko is very curious about the world around him.
Home to Kiko is an abandoned jeepney in a vacant lot. His jeepney is his source of everything which includes his collection of things that have to do with bananas. He holds dear a portrait of himself holding a bunch of bananas. Kiko will do some things for the people on the street, but he gets embarassed by profuse thanks. He is not very demonstrative himself and thus dislikes expressions of affection, either verbally or physically. His best human friend is Ben with whom he shares a sense of mischief.
