- Well, I can vouch for that. I saw a copy in a store once last year (though I haven't seen a Genius copy since). It seems like a few older videos have been rereleased by Genius without any big announcements. I've also seen Genius-released copies of The Best of Elmo and Christmas Eve on Sesame Street without being aware of their existence. --Minor muppetz 15:47, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, the stuff I'm adding by Genius is stuff that I've actually seen in stores. It gets confusing because late Sonys went through a catalog number series starting with LVD, then they changed it to 82876, then they changed it again to 89126. When Genius took over, it looks like their new titles have a number starting with SS, but for reissues, it looks like they've kept the Sony number, but the bar code's slightly different. I haven't found enough different titles to see if they're going to keep doing it for reissues. It's hard to see what's currently on Genius because Amazon still has Sony listed for a lot of titles (or even "Sesame Street" or "CTW"), and they may or may not change it, plus they still show the old covers. I think I'll write to Genius, and see if I can get a catalog or something. -- Ken (talk) 02:32, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
