actor[]
Why isn't there a table for the actor? -- Joe (talk) 22:22, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- What actor? This page is for the species in general, not any specific Snuffleupagus characters. --Minor muppetz 23:05, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Plural[]
What is the plural of snuffleupagus? Snuffleupagi, snuffelupaguses, snuffelupagui, snuffleupagus, snuffleupagusss β¦? I used Snuggleupagi, but have no clue if that's correct. Any thoughts? -- Brad D. (talk) 16:36, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- I think Snuffleupagi works for now, until we find an official spelling. Wonderful anthropological and zoological explorations, Brad! Andrew Leal (talk) 16:46, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, here we go.
- From a Sesame Street Beat newsletter in 1999: "They say, "art imitates life." Believe it or not, this is true for Sesame Street. Unless you live in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, you're probably wondering exactly what part of your comparatively normal life has anything to do with the unique Muppet universe filled with furry monsters, snuffleupaguses, and eight-foot-tall talking birds."
- Also, the lyrics to "The Snuffleupagus Polka": "There's a nifty little dance that Snuffleupaguses do. You may think it's not for you; that simply isn't true." -- Danny (talk) 17:21, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- Also, to answer LtPowers' question (what's your name, by the way?) -- Using a plural helps to mark the article as being about a species or character type, rather than just one character. It makes the distinction between an article about a character named Dog and an article about Dogs as a group. -- Danny (talk) 18:00, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
