Inconsistency[]

It seems we're getting a bit inconsistent as to who we think is doing the voices for Luckey's cartoons. On his page it says that it's Luckey himself, referencing this song particularly, but on this specific page, it is indicated that it's this Turk Murphy bandleader guy, as well as on the Eight Penny Candy Man page. Yet the Donny Budd page still cites it as being Bud, and I'm pretty sure it's the same guy who sings those songs? So what is the real story here? Garrettk41 23:41, February 1, 2011 (UTC)

And while we're on the subject, why are all these new topics going to the bottom of the page lately instead of the top? Garrettk41 23:43, February 1, 2011 (UTC)
I can only answer your second question: Unfortunately we now have to use the dropdown arrow on the green "Add topic" button and hit "Edit" in order to add a topic to the top (so I moved your question up). :) — Julian (talk) 00:43, February 2, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for that. Garrettk41 01:11, February 2, 2011 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure it's Bud, but we can't really know for sure. Edward Rankin 01:30, February 2, 2011 (UTC)

Bud Luckey[]

Although it's relatively easy to know which cartoons Bud Luckey produced, animated and/or directed, I find it hard to believe that he was the singer on this or similar spots for Sesame Street. While spots like this one, Ten Turtles and Martian Beauty seem to have the same vocalist, Luckey's credited voice work for Pixar (as well as his natural voice in interview material) sounds very different to me than the singer on these songs, and some of the spots that he directed/animated obviously have different vocals (compare this song with Ladybugs' Picnic and That's About the Size of It).

Is there any documentation for any of these songs giving Luckey credit for vocals? JoeMcDuck 21:02, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

It's widely confirmed in interviews with Luckey, and the Pixar stuff only shows the result of age (compare Boundin some time, for example; same vocal quality, just older). -- Andrew Leal (talk) 21:04, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Is This Irrelevant?[]

Does this count as something that is wanted in the article or not?

Also, I wonder if Turk Murphy did his own childish voice as the seventh son. If not, I'm sure whichever child did the voice did it anonymously. Interstate2011 (talk) 02:54, March 27, 2015 (UTC)
