Track listings[]
Okay, now that we all have the soundtrack, I have a question. I understand why the change was made on The Whistling Caruso from Andrew Bird (what it says on the back cover) to Walter (what it says on the album's page), because in the context of the movie, Walter is performing it. So if we make that change, can we change the other tracks from the actors' names to the characters' names? To me, it looks weird to see a song by Jason Segel and Walter. I think it should either be all actors (Jason Segel and Peter Linz) or all characters (Gary and Walter). And since all of the other albums on the wiki use the characters' names on the track listings, I think we should do that here, too. Any other thoughts? -- Ken (talk) 03:18, November 23, 2011 (UTC)
- That makes sense. However, we do also try to credit performers. So since "Whistling Caruso" is the one track where someone other than Linz supplies vocals, it would make sense to either include a note at the bottom or use "Walter (whistling by Andrew Bird)." Right now, most entries use "Gary" but the one you mention uses Jason Segel, so yeah, fix as appropriate. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 16:46, November 24, 2011 (UTC)
