Connection?[]
I was looking at the list of people who are listed as having Muppet connections who have appeared in this series; and I wonder, it might be streatching things a bit, but the actress Una Brandon-Jones appeared in the episode "A Place In The World" (Season 5, episode 2 - first broadcast in the UK in 1975, and in the US in 1977), she played a woman billed as "Mother" who was among the hecklers at the political rally in that episode). Of course Una herself is not associated with The Muppets, however her daughter, does happen to be a Muppet puppeteer? What does anyone else think? Emma 17:49, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- Who's the daughter? Given how small the role is, unless the daughter is someone really significant, I'd say probably not. On Buffy the Vampire Slayer, we mention Tom Whedon, Muppet writer, because of his son, but his son created the show. And in Old-time radio, there's several Muppet folks related to radio people, so they get their own sub-heading. But in this case, I personally wouldn't bother. Jeff Moss was the son of Star Trek guest actor Arnold Moss, but while worth noting on his page, I can't see how to easily fit it in the page. We love the connections, but it shouldn't turn into being connected because of a connection to a connection, whenever possible. It's neat when it comes up (Vin Burnham is the daughter of a [{Doctor Who]] guest actor), but can be awkward to include. I don't know. - In answer , Una Brandon-Jones's daughter is the British actress and sometimes puppeteer Louise Gold. I guess you're probably right, that's why I posted it as a talk page question. Emma 21:14, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
