"Tall Short Texans" is a Sesame Street song showing how a tall cowboy (voiced by Paul Jacobs) and a short cowboy (Jerry Nelson) can both work together. A trio of cows appear as back-up singers throughout the song. The segment was animated by Joey Ahlbum.
The number is a spoof of the song "Long Tall Texan." The song was later rerecorded for the album Elmo's Lowdown Hoedown, sung by Big Bird and Elmo.
