Taran Killam (b. 1982) is a cast member on Saturday Night Live and best known for his television work on shows such as MADtv, Scrubs, and How I Met Your Mother. He also provided the voice of the titular character in the 2015 PBS animated series Nature Cat (created by Adam and David Rudman).
During the closing of the October 6, 2012 broadcast of Saturday Night Live, Killam can be seen along with cast members interacting with Big Bird, who made a cameo appearance on the show.
Killam appeared in the 45th season premiere of Sesame Street, playing Professor Buck Awe, a school teacher for chickens who is aided by Elmo.
He is married to Cobie Smulders.
