Taron Egerton (b. 1989) is a British actor who starred in Kingsman: The Secret Service and its sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle. He voiced Rian on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and was interviewed in The Crystal Calls: Making the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Egerton was already a fan of the original film when he was cast, having been introduced to it by his father at a young age. Upon meeting Toby Froud during a visit to the set, he exclaimed, "You're the baby from Labyrinth!"[1]
Egerton's other starring turns include the title characters in Eddie the Eagle (with Hugh Jackman), 2018's Robin Hood, and Rocketman (as Elton John).
