Tawathaagee

Tawatha Agee is a singer who has vocalized on Sesame Street as a member of the Squirrelles and as one of the Oinker Sisters in Sing-Along Travel Songs and Kids' Favorite Songs. She also sang on some of the tracks added for the 1993 release of Born to Add.

Agee sang for the band Mtume, notably lead vocals on the 1983 single "Juicy Fruit.", and released a solo album in 1987. She sang backup to Bruce Springsteen, Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin, Lou Rawls, Ray Charles, Beyoncé Knowles, and Carly Simon. She was heard in the chorus of the films Joe's Apartment and Disney's Hercules and seen as an on-camera choir singer on 30 Rock and backing Bill Murray in A Very Murray Christmas.
