Tequila is a 1958 Latin-flavored rock and roll instrumental recorded by The Champs. One of the more memorable usages of the song appears in a scene from the film Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, the latter of which was parodied by Kermit the Frog in the Fall 1987 issue of Muppet Magazine.

Luis and his band played the tune in Episode 1011 of Sesame Street, where Luis substitutes "Sesame Street" for the titular phrase.

The song's instrumental is used in the Universal Studios Singapore stage show Monster Lo Hei. When Oscar can't wait any longer for the yusheng to start (looking forward to the mess that will be made during the prosperity toss), he encourages Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Cookie Monster to join him in getting their ingredients together to speed up the process, with each individual calling out their ingredient to the song.

The song was also played at the Sesame Place Rock Around the Block Parade.
