Terence Harvey (1944-2017) was a British actor who voiced the adult Grovelhog (aka Hans) in The StoryTeller episode "Hans My Hedgehog."[1]
Harvey performed secondary and minor roles with The Royal Shakespeare Company from 1979 to 1981. In television and movies, he often played judges, businessmen, police officials, and similar parts. He worked in soap operas, with a brief stint on radio's The Archers as hedgefund manager Justin, multiple roles on Coronation Street, and a six year stint on Hollyoaks as the millionaire second husband of main character Cindy. He played Winston Churchill in a spotlight episode of the 1983 series Number 10 (depicting the lives of prime ministers) and a similar historical turn as Julius Caesar in the Cleopatra episode of The Great Egyptians. He had guest parts on Minder, Prime Suspect 3 (with Helen Mirren), The Bill, Law & Order: UK, Poirot, Downton Abbey, and others.
Films include the 1989 The Phantom of the Opera (Inspector Hawkins), From Hell (Ben Kidney), Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, The Man Who Knew Too Little (with Bill Murray), Secrets & Lies (with Brenda Blethyn), Johnny English (with Rowan Atkinson), Basic Instinct 2 (as Sharon Stone's lawyer), and The Damned United (the FA committee chairman).
