The Archivist is the keeper of all important treasures of Fraggle kind, first seen in the Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock episode "The Glow." She originally hails from Shhh Pond and possesses some form of magical properties allowing her (and even others) to float rather than walk.
She is summoned to Fraggle Rock by Uncle Traveling Matt to inspect the latest artifact he's sent back from Outer Space - the Bizzle of Secrets (a plastic water bottle). The Bizzle ends up stuck on Boober's tail as an ill-advised attempt to conceal his now-glowing baloobius.
When the Archivist arrives at the museum where the Bizzle will be kept, she recognizes Boober's issue very quickly. She reveals her baloobius too can glow and she spent much of her life keeping it hidden before accepting it as a beautiful part of herself.
