The Australian Women's Weekly is a monthly Australian women's magazine founded in 1933. Kermit the Frog appeared on the cover of the July 11, 1979 issue, promoting the release of The Muppet Movie. The four-page article was titled "As the Muppets storm the silver screen, everyone is asking: Will Miss Piggy win an Oscar?" The article included an interview with Jim Henson, and quotes from Frank Oz and Calista Hendrickson.
