The "Triplets" number from The Band Wagon, later reworked for Sam and Friends
The Band Wagon is a 1953 MGM musical starring Fred Astaire, inspired by and loosely reworking material from the 1931 Broadway revue of the same name (which also starred Astaire). The movie, which is about attempts by Astaire's character to mount a comeback musical, introduced several new songs as well, notably "That's Entertainment" (later covered by the Muppets). "Dancing in the Dark" from the original revue underscores a dance duet.
