The Boss is manager to Daniel who monitors the crisis of Kermit the Frog in It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie. Although it's never clearly stated, it is suggested that her character is God. For example, she makes claim to having created the complex bug eye and a coffee shrub, and alludes to the fact. that she "works in mysterious ways". The latter quotation refers to God, as taken from Isaiah 45:15 of the King James Bible, and later popularized in hymns and as a common expression.
