The Bunny Hop is a Sesame Street Little Golden Book published in 1997.
It's springtime on Sesame Street, and the Muppets are surprised to find themselves visited by a plague of bunnies. Elmo spots one under his bed, Oscar has three in his trash can, and Zoe finds a whole slew of them in her garden shed. Bert is ready to do the spring cleaning, and finds bunnies in his closet. Ernie, Cookie Monster, Prairie Dawn, Grover, Herry Monster, Hoots the Owl -- they all see bunnies wherever they look.
The confused Street residents collect all the bunnies that they've found -- and then Big Bird comes by, looking for his bunnies. The bird had gathered what appears to be at least three dozen bunnies, and tried to keep them all in a small basket. Amazingly, he's surprised that they escaped. When his friends return the bunnies, he invites them all to join him in an Easter parade.
All of the friends dress up in fancy hats, and they accompany the now-well-behaved bunnies in a colorful parade.
It is not revealed what happens to the bunnies after the parade.
