The Chief is the fire chief for the Sesame Street Engine Co., as seen in A Visit to the Sesame Street Firehouse. An affable older gentleman, the Chief takes Big Bird, Grover, and Ernie on a grand tour of their facilities, and explains the special equipment, vehicles, and techniques needed to fight fires.
