"The Chipmunk Song" (also known as "Christmas Don't Be Late") is a novelty Christmas song by Ross Bagdasarian under the guise of Dave Seville, performed by Alvin and the Chipmunks.
The track was used on Sam and Friends for their Christmas Eve show in 1958, where it eventually segues into a sped-up version of Danny Kaye's "Tschaikowsky (and Other Russians)." The same combination of songs was repeated the following year on December 15.
