The Clive James Show 1996
The Clive James Show is one of several television series hosted by Australian television presenter Clive James that aired in the United Kingdom.

- In 1996, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy appeared via satellite in New York City for a ten minute interview to promote Muppet Treasure Island and Muppets Tonight. Kermit discusses doing his own stunts in the movie and Piggy explains her role saying that there are no small parts, only small actors (while defending Kermit's comments about her weight). The pair argue about how much acting is in the movie and demonstrate the level of violence with a series of karate chops. Concerning Muppets Tonight, Kermit teases the introduction of newcomer Spamela Hamderson, and Piggy names Pierce Brosnan as her favorite guest. Finally, the pair address the question of marriage... by not directly addressing it at all.
