The Cow Announcer was the announcer for the serial Lash Holstein: Space Cowdet in episode 202 of Muppets Tonight, temporarily replacing A. Ligator. He also announcers the sponsor tags for Moo-veltine, "the brown flavored drink you'll swear is almost chocolate-like."

The puppet had previously appeared at the beginning of Muppet Treasure Island.
