The Dancing Clown is a marionette puppet that Fozzie tries to perform in The Muppet Show, episode 508. Fozzie enjoys the feeling of power and control that he gets as a puppeteer, but it doesn't last long -- the Clown grabs his strings and pulls Fozzie down to the ground.
