Miss Piggy sings "The Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze" for the opening number in episode 410 of The Muppet Show. Kermit, in a white leotard, falls off the trapeze and injures a flipper when he mistakenly instructs an assisting Beauregard to push him hard.
Bob sings a few words as he pushes Julia on the tire swing in Episode 1019 of Sesame Street. Ruby does the same while playing with her doll in Episode 2522. The song was also spoofed on "Elmo the Musical" as "The High Wire Song."
