The Doors were a rock band from the 1960s consisting of vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, and drummer John Densmore. They recorded six studio albums before the death of frontman Morrison, then three more through the 1970s by the surviving band members. With over 100 million records sold worldwide, they are one of the best-selling bands of all time, and they were the first American band to accumulate eight consecutive gold LPs.
