The Furry Arms Hotel is a 2001 Sesame Street storybook in the "Elmo's Neighborhood" series. It was reissued in 2009 in the "Where is the Puppy?" series.
The little black puppy enters The Furry Arms Hotel and a helpful Dinger (who actually speaks in this book via word balloons like the other characters) leads him to the front desk to get a room. On the way he sees Elmo, the monster he has been playing Hide and Seek with all day. He promptly hides. Elmo hears the honker say a small black puppy wants a room and gets Sherry Netherland's permission to search the hotel, as long as Benny the Bellhop goes with him.
They search many rooms -- one is a desert, one is a rainforest, and one is underwater -- but puppies don't live in places like that. Then they find a room full of puppies, but none of them are the little black one. Elmo finally says goodbye to Baby Natasha and heads out to search for it elsewhere. Meanwhile it is playing with Natasha.
