The Gargoyle sings a romantic duet, "For Me and Gargoyle," with Mulch in The Muppet Show episode 509. The two wed and sing that they're "gonna build a little home for two or three or four or more." After the song, Mulch tells Kermit that they have kids who are on exhibit at the museum — they're weird, but (as the gargoyle notes) "worth seeing." Three additional gargoyle heads with wings and talons adorn the belltower and sing back-up.
The puppet was recycled on Little Muppet Monsters in the unaired episode "Gonzo's Talent Hunt."
