"The Gnu" (sometimes referred to as "I'm a Gnu" or "The Gnu Song") was sung by a British Chap and a gnu in episode 519 of The Muppet Show.
The painted backdrop behind the gnu is of the Elephant and Rhinoceros Pavilion at London Zoo.
The original Flanders and Swann recording had previously been lip-synced to on the October 8, 1959 show of Sam and Friends.[1]
