Oscar and his Grouch friends sing "The Grouch Explorers" at his trash can, about the adventures they all like (or dislike) going on together. Among the trips brought up and seen in photos are gliding through a mosquito-filled swamp, riding atop a camel in Egypt (trash can included), and ice fishing with penguins. Following the song, the Grouches argue over which adventure was the crummiest; one believes it was a visit to the Williamscook Ice Shelf, while another exclaims that his favorite was climbing Mt. Everest in his underwear.
