After Rowlf's usual intro music plays, a strange but Muppety face rises up, saying "Good evening" ala Bela Lugosi. When a taken aback Jimmy Dean asks who he is, the newcomer says "I am Igor, your new pet." He says he is half skunk and half monkey ("What kind of animal is that?" "A skonkey.") When Rowlf takes off the mask (to audience applause), he explains he was using one of his disguises because he's a secret agent. He's noticed that all the TV shows are about secret agents and decided to become one himself. He's now The Dog from C.O.U.S.I.N. (pointing to the Western badge he's wearing), which stands for "the Canine Organization of United International Nitwits" (omitting anything the S may stand for). Jimmy teases that Rowlf is the number one nitwit, but he's actually Number Two. In an Abbott and Costello-style bit, Jimmy asks who's number one. "Shhh," says Rowlf. "What do you mean shhh?" Rowlf explains "That's his name, Shhh" (which cracks up Jimmy). He's a secret secret agent.

Jimmy assumes the organization fights crime like the others. Rowlf asks Jimmy if he's heard of THRUSH (the evil organization from Man from U.N.C.L.E.) and explains they're fighting TRASH. Rowlf gives his secret code number as X-9, prompting Jimmy's usual dumb dog joke: "Been kinda funny if it was K-9." Rowlf says his skonkey makes better jokes, but Jimmy admits it was a pretty good disguise. Rowlf says he has a better one: "Remember dancing with that gorgeous blonde and bringing her a plate of hors d'oeuvres? Well, the salami was delicious, but you're a lousy dancer." When Jimmy asks if that was really Rowlf, he says "It wasn't Zsa Zsa Gabor."

Rowlf asks if Jimmy wants to see some of his spy equipment, asking him to talk into his nose (miniature tape recorder). His left eyeball has a camera and "my whole body is wired for espionage." When Jimmy quips that must be why his ears look funny, Rowlf retorts "Look who's talking!" Rowlf gets a call on his two-way bone phone (a joint reference to the Dick Tracy two-way wrist radio and the shoe phone from Get Smart). The phone caller reports they captured the head of TRASH, a polar bear named Coldfinger. Rowlf ends the call by saying they should take away his blimp pills to prevent escape. Jimmy asks what blimp pills are, and Rowlf brings out his bottle. Each pill is filled with helium, and they make the consumer blow up like a blimp and float away. A skeptical Jimmy tries one with no results. Wondering what went wrong, Rowlf downs the entire bottle, only to begin inflating. The outcome is expected: "My belly button blew out. Attention all Nitwits, be on the lookout for a missing belly button. And be careful, it may be armed!"

To close, Rowlf and Jimmy sing a duet of "M-O-T-H-E-R," or in this case, "C.O.U.S.I.N." (this time with S standing for secret agent star). For the last line, Rowlf says they spell "M-O-T-H-E-R" rather than cousin ("You wanna finish with applause, don't ya?")
