"The Loco-Motion" is a song written by the team of Gerry Goffin and Carole King in 1962. Little Eva initially performed the song for her album Llllloco-Motion and was subsequently and popularly covered by Grand Funk Railroad and Kylie Minogue.
In The Jim Henson Hour episode "Outer Space," Kermit and Lindbergh are beamed into a malfunctioning Digit's head. They come across a control panel marked "Locomotion" and boot it up. Suddenly, Digit starts imitating a train and starts singing the first line of the song.
