The Many Faces of Comedy was a 1973 TV special starring Alan King with guest stars. In one sketch spoofing Sesame Street, a derby hatted, cigar carrying Alan King walks down Caraway Street, whose residents include analogues to Ernie (George Burns) and Bert (Danny Thomas), Big Bird (Totie Fields), Mr. Hooper (Steve Landesberg), and Don Knotts resembling both Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster as a blue trash dweller.
Other guests in the special included Milton Berle, Godfrey Cambridge, Rich Little, and Howard Morris. John Boni was one of the writers.
