On June 20, 2011, the first full-length theatrical trailer for The Muppets was released. This was the first "real trailer" for the film, following a series of trailer parodies (Green with Envy, The Fuzzy Pack, Being Green). The trailer also features "We Built This City".
The 2-minute 20-second trailer was also re-cut into a 60-second TV spot.
