The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo is an upcoming spin-off of Sesame Street developed exclusively for HBO Max, the streaming platform launching in 2020. The series is a talk-show format starring Elmo with special celebrity guests. The series will be made available on the service at its launch on May 27.

The pilot, directed by Benjamin Lehmann, was produced in January 2019,[1][2] and featured special guest Kacey Musgraves performing "Rubber Duckie."[3]

Confirmed special guests include John Mulaney, Batman, Blake Lively, Jonas Brothers, Jason Sudeikis, Jimmy Fallon, Andy Cohen, Josh Groban, Ciara, Andy Cohen, Kacey Musgraves, Hoda Kotb, John Oliver, Ben Platt, Pentatonix[4], and Sara Bareilles.[5]

Lehmann serves as executive producer alongside Mindy Fila and Stephanie Longardo.
