The Price is Right is a game show that originally aired from 1956 to 1965, and with some retooling, has aired on CBS since 1972. The show was originally hosted by Bob Barker from its inception through 2007, with Drew Carey following as host.

  • During a 2019 appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, the Sesame Street Muppets try to find Corden's studio in the CBS building. They are seen on the current set of The Price is Right, where Cookie Monster mistakes the numbering on the Big Wheel for cookies and Count von Count attempts to guess the value of a banjo.
  • The Sesamestreet.org online game "Show Me the Cookies" is a parody of the show. The set is modeled after the classic version, host Cookie Monster wields a long, Bob Barker-style microphone, the game is made up of a series of mini-games, and the player spins a giant wheel to win a prize. The game "Cliffhangers" is directly referenced, with Cookie dressed in lederhosen attempting to catch cookies while ascending a cliff.
