The Proud Family is an animated series that aired on the Disney Channel from September 2001 to August 2005. The show centered around an African-American teenager Penny and her family, as well as friends.
Clips from the show were used in the music video "We Are Family," with Penny Proud appearing on the cover of the DVD distributed to schools. While new footage of assorted Muppet, Sesame Street, and Bear in the Big Blue House characters was featured, The Proud Family and other animated shows were represented with clips and no new vocals.
Muppet Mentions[]
