The Rocklopedia Fakebandica is designed as a reference book covering both fictional bands and solo performers. It is an extension of the website FakeBands.com. It was written by T. Mike Childs and published in October 2004 by Thomas Dunne Books, an imprint of St. Martin's Press.
The Rocklopedia Fakebandica contains several Muppet-related entries. It contains entries for The Amazing Marvin Suggs and His Muppaphone, Tony Clifton, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, Mahna Mahna and the Two Snowths, Miss Piggy, Rowlf the Dog and Wayne and Wanda. Each entry gives a brief history of the character or band, along with some bits of trivia.
