The Safety Chickens are a trio of chickens who appear in Episode 4402 of Sesame Street.
They are hired by pretend-teacher Telly in case an accident occurs in his imaginary classroom. Sure enough, Rosita pushes Baby Bear down a number of times, allowing Telly to bring in the chickens, who sing a pair of songs to them - "Give a Peck" and "Safety Dance." They also back up Gordon with his own song, "Hug Yourself."
The lead chicken is performed by Stephanie D'Abruzzo, with John Tartaglia and Peter Linz as the two back-up chickens.
