The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is a 2005 film based on a series of five young adult novels by Ann Brashares. It follows the exploits of four young women — played by America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, Blake Lively, and Alexis Bledel — who share a pair of jeans that inexplicably fit them all perfectly. The movie earned several Teen Choice Awards and spawned a sequel in 2008.

- Statler and Waldorf nominated the first film for a Balcy Award in From the Balcony episode 6. Competing in the "Most Uplifting Movie of the Summer" against Cinderella Man and Murderball, Statler describes the plot as "The miraculous ability of one pair of jeans to make four different girls look good." All three films lose to The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
