The Ten Commandments is a 1956 film directed by Cecil B. DeMille about the story of Moses.

  • The introduction to the Sesame Street song "Telly Tut" paraphrases a quote from the movie. Telly Monster, posing as "King Telly Tut, the triangle-loving pharaoh of Egypt," announces his plans to build the largest pyramids in history. He then states "So let it be written, so let it be sung!", referencing the line "So let it be written, so let it be done" line uttered by the Pharaoh.
