The Termite is the hip wood-eating insect seen in the direct-to-video Muppet Sing Along, Billy Bunny's Animal Songs.Template:Performer

According to the video's 1993 press release, underneath those shades, the Termite is the tiniest, coolest, hippest insect in the forest. In his early days he played the piano in an all-termite jazz band. They were doing very well until they ate their instruments and the concert hall one night during a performance.

In the video, he sings to Billy Bunny about his love for wood in a song titled "The Termite Chew". He is seen backed by three other termites in a chorus of "Chomp"'s.
