The Wall Street Journal is a daily newspaper. Established in 1889, two of its cofounders were Charles Dow and Edward Jones (of the Dow Jones Average) which combined with the Wall Street in the title resulted in particular emphasis on business and financial news and statistics.
For many years, the paper largely minimized less hard news topics such as entertainment, leisure, and sports, with much of that being covered in their magazine WSJ. and for a few years through sub-blogs on the site such as Speakeasy.
Appearances[]
- Miss Piggy was interviewed by Speakeasy in 2009, which after the blog folded was housed on the main Wall Street Journal website. The interview discussed her participation in Macy's Glamorama and news about what would become the 2011 Muppets movie.[1]
