The Witch Doctor appeared a few times on The Muppet Show. A Whatnot caricature of a stereotyped native witch doctor, he has a bone in his nose, wild brown hair, and a mask which he always carries.
The Witch Doctor made a cameo appearance on Pigs in Space in episode 303 and put a spell on Marvin Suggs in episode 304 during the song "Witch Doctor". He also pops up in episode 317 among the various Muppets from different countries.
Episode 410 featured a doctor (also played by Nelson) slowly turning into a witch doctor during the song "Coconut." Although this doctor was a different Whatnot, his transformed features and attire are reminiscent of the Witch Doctor, complete with mask.
