Thidwick the Big-Hearted Moose was a recurring character on The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, used only during the first season.
The character debuted in the eponymous 1948 Dr. Seuss book, in which the moose's good nature gets the better of him as an army of wildlife squat in his horns. On The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, Thidwick is honorary uncle to Morton the Elephant Bird.
Thidwick was the first puppet built for the series and was used in the very first pitch reel sent to Dr. Seuss Enterprises, where he appears walking off the pages of his eponymous book.[1]
