"Things Are Always Changin' " is a Sesame Street song about embracing changes by Hoots the Owl.
A boy named Jimmy is upset that his family is moving tomorrow, until Hoots appears at his window to sing about how change can bring something good. He is soon joined by some frogs, chickens and monster football players who are mentioned in the lyrics.
Notes[]
- Hoots' spoken introduction, and his miscalling Jimmy "Bunky," are references to Eddie Lawrence's character "The Old Philosopher."
- Martin P. Robinson and Kathryn Mullen perform Jimmy's father and mother.
