"Things That I Remember" was written by Jeff Moss in 1997 as his farewell to Sesame Street, as his cancer had progressed and his time working on the show was coming to an end.
The song is sung by Ernie and Bert in their beds. As they sing and reminisce about their time together, a montage of classic Ernie and Bert clips play.
