Things to Come is a 1936 science fiction film directed by William Cameron Menzies. The screenplay was written by H.G. Wells as an expansion on ideas he had outlined in his 1933 collection of notes, The Shape of Things to Come.

- The Muppet Babies episode "Muppetland" uses footage from the film for Baby Scooter's vision of FutureLand, an amusement park he and Baby Animal designed on his computer. Shots of technologically advanced buildings and infrastructure are used to illustrate what Scooter calls "the city of the future." A helicopter from the film becomes the mode of transport Scooter pilots to show Animal the sites which include Seattle, Washington's Space Needle.
