Max, I'm pretty sure I've explained to you before how to take screenshots on the computer, so please refrain from uploading thumbnails from videos, like the ones you added of Shivers and the recent Today appearance. Useful as your intentions are, the images are just too small to use. So please, take screenshots instead.

    • Understood, Enrique!

    • Some more reminders, Max. You've started uploading images to Character images with a blank background again. I reminded you of this back in May, so please do *not* start or forget again. Also, do not edit the galleries people start on talk pages. Their not really created for you to add accumulation (as you have on Talk:Sesame Street Magazine) but in fact to deal with problem pictures we already have, or in other cases (as on Talk:Marvel Comics), my message stated the specific purpose of the images that were parked. If you want to add others (and I am glad you did), add your own message, gallery, and signature. Otherwise it's like editing someone else's words. On the actual articles, sure anybody can edit a gallery, because it's collaborative. Talk pages, or message walls and the new forums(designed to prevent others from editing someone else's message in fact), are for communication with each other and knowing who is saying or adding what.

    • Oh, god. I'm really sorry about that, Andrew!

    • No worries, just thought it was time for a friendly reminder on the Sesame tumblr images. And for the other issue, I thought it was probably because you weren't really grasping the difference between the talk pages and pages like Kissing Muppets.

I just wanted to make sure you were more careful. As Big Bird said Everyone Makes Mistakes. Thanks!

    • No problem, Andrew.

    • Hi Max, I wanted to note that some of your recent picture uploads aren't at the level of quality we want on the Wiki. A few of them are watermarked, and I reminded you about that not too long ago, so once again, please refrain from using watermarked images. Also, there's currently a discussion on the forums about our coverage on Magazine Appearances and possibly reworking the category policy. I'd encourage you to read it (and add to the discussion if you have any thoughts), but until a decision is settled upon, please hold off on creating any more magazine pages for now. Thanks.

    • Well, sure. Whatever you say, Jon.

    • And video cases do not make good character images. Again, you had the right idea, but we don't use things like that on character pages, especially when you add it to other galleries. If you don't have an image, don't use one; someone else can fill in the gap. I have the DVD now, so I can do it. Keep that in mind please.

    • Sure thing, Enrique! I'll let you handle the situation.

    • Okay, please put a bit more thought into the images you upload. The Shalom Sesame covers, while informative, are just too small to use. Please, if you're going to upload a photo, make sure it's at least 300px.

    • You're still doing it. Please, try and take screenshots over saving the thumbnail of the video; they're just too small to use.

    • Sorry about that. I just couldn't resist.

    • Max -- "I just couldn't resist" is not acceptable. Just this week, you've uploaded 30 pictures that admins had to delete. This has been a constant problem and we've talked to you about it many, many times over the last few months.

I'm sorry to do this, but I'm going to have to block you from editing the wiki. You've added some very good stuff to the wiki. You've also created a lot of extra work for the people who clean up after you, correcting mistakes that you've promised not to make anymore.

We've given you lots of chances to improve, but if you "can't resist" breaking promises, then we can't trust you, and we can't have you contribute to the wiki anymore.
