  • I wanted to ask if anyone could figure out how the eye iris sizes change on several puppets like Kermit from Muppet Treasure Island while he was carrying a heavy load at the cliff and various muppets in the Happiness Hotel with the Say Cheese part? This is a behind the scenes question for this kind of muppet anatomy.

    • It's as simple as removing the original pupil and placing on a smaller one (or by removing the entire eye and adding a new one with a smaller pupil).

    • Thanks. Also, real eyes don't need removal when the iris and/or pupil. All they need to do is shrink smaller until it's that tiny. The pupil is surrounded by the iris especially for most eyes and they can shrink along with the pupil in-order to see more of the white cornea on the puppet eye.
