Do we have any of these segments in a guide anywhere on the wiki?

It looks like there are at least five of them.

    • I think it's only on that article and Grover Sketches: Miscellaneous for the one involving him.

They haven't turned up in any episodes we've documented thus far. Judging from the little red/gold design thing at the beginning of each of those, they probably had some sort of on-screen name that was pasted over for the international versions (they used the same thing to cover the logo for Leslie Mostly, for instance). If that's the case, we might be able to make a page for the series.

    • Gotcha. I'm trying to find it in the scripts, but it's so non-descript, it's hard to find. I'll keep an eye out.

    • That YouTube link is dead and it doesn't appear as though I backed it up. Do you know if these are online anywhere? Trying to track down again where we might be able to find them.

A comment on the original upload suggested these were made for Sesame Place, which is why we haven't seen them turn up in any scripts so far.

I'm willing to believe that, as we have evidence of stuff shot for the park in 1980 airing in other countries (see Ernie and Bert Sketches: Miscellaneous and Grover Sketches: Miscellaneous). And here's a video from its early days (YouTube); at 3:49, you can see video involving Ernie, Bert, Grover, Elmo and Maurice, the latter two are involved in the music bits.

    • That's a solid theory. The empty title cards seem like they might have been backdrops for text that might change given a live situation. I wonder about the (Channel?) 2 logo in the corner of three of them though.

    • These were all from international co-productions, it's some foreign broadcaster.

These use that same title card for the Leslie Mostly bits (as I mentioned above), so I'd wager it's not really removing text so much as covering it up with something.

    • Ah, gotcha. Also, got another thing I'll message you off wiki about.
