Hey, I'm in shock again! Remember the Carol Burnett Show I told you about that is supposed to have Vicki Lawrence doing Mahna Mahna? Well, it's on YouTube, and I don't know what to do with what I found. It's Vicki Lawrence and Don Creighton dressed up as Ruth Buzzi and Arte Johnson as the old man and old lady from Laugh-In, and they're doing a comedy/dance number to the original recording of Mahna Mahna, and then, Ruth and Arte make a surprise guest appearance! As I've said before, this was broadcast on 11/17/69, so I don't know if it was a Sesame reference, since they hadn't done it yet. But then again, how many people saw Sweden, Heaven and Hell? There was a 45 of the movie version of Mahna Mahna, but it only went to #55 on the pop chart. So what do you think we should do with it? It's here, at 23:46. I love the Laugh-In reference, as well as finally knowing that they were using the original version. I just don't think it's a Sesame reference yet. I was going to put this farther down the page, but I didn't know if you'd see it.<ac_metadata title="I'm so glad we had this time to Mahna Mahna!"> </ac_metadata>
